Dark Chocolate?

I'm going to complain for a minute.
Those of you who know me in "real life" would hardly be surprised at my complaining -- which I often think of it as "sharing my opinions." (You also are not surprised at my use of " ". ha)

I'm going to risk this post, because I've been informed that several of my good friends never read my blog because they get to talk to me in "real life." (Ahem, Kristen.) So, I'm going to assume Becky never does either.

My complaint is about my hunt for something for my roommate/bf/woman-who-is-stuck-with-me-as-a-friend-forever for S.A.D. --(Single Awareness Day) a.k.a Valentine's Day for you married types.

I went to Godiva and Barnes & Noble for some kind of dark, cutely (but cheap) packaged, chocolate. I just want to give my friend a hunk of melt in your mouth wonderfulness to remind her that though she is single, getting chocolate is truly the only redeeming thing about February 14th -- single or married.

And all they had was MILK CHOCOLATE.
Sure, I could have spent $50 on D choc.
And I do love Beck. But not that much (haha).

I ended up buying Dark Chocolate bars. But, I wanted to buy her dark chocolate in a cute heart box! (said in the most whiny voice I can make...)

humph.
What gives?

And that, my friends, is my complaint. Godiva - next year, give me a little box of d choc in a heart for $5.50 like you did for milk choc. Don't discrimate against the chocolate purists.
And Becky, if you did read this, and you want to return the favor because you feel bad that I got you something (even though it is usually the other way around), I like the Godiva Dark Choc bars with Raspberry filling. To quote Paul Tripp on Saturday when someone gave him a bag of Godiva Chocolate, "My kingdom has come."
Please don't waste your time on the Lindt Dark Chocolate Raspberry bars. I don't like the creamy filling. I like the gooey filling of Godiva. But, I do like The Lindt Dark Chocolate Truffles. A Lot.
Just in case. ha

Amy: I'll have to check these out.

Steph: then your hubby can spend $5.50 at Godiva and get something you would like. lol. If you switch to dark choc you can justify eating more of it. Antioxidents.
